How Do You Play The Game Black? Blackjack is an incredibly popular card game, exciting and easy to play. The goal is to have a hand with a total value higher than the dealer’s without exceeding 21. Kings, Queens, Jack and Tens are worth 10. An ace is worth 1 or 11. Remaining cards count towards face value.
How Do You Play The Game Blackjack? And How to Understand it
You and the other players are dealt two cards each, while the dealer is dealt one face up. If your first 2 cards add up to 21 (an Ace and a 10), that’s Blackjack! If they have a different total, decide if you want to ‘draw’ or ‘stay’. You can keep drawing cards until you are happy with your hand.
You can “Double” your original bet on any combination of two cards, however, you will only receive one more card. You are then dealt an additional card to each of your split cards to create two new hands. If the Aces are split, you only receive 1 additional card for each Ace. If you split the Aces and a 10/picture card is drawn, the total is 21, not Blackjack. If the Dealer has an Ace as their first card, you can bet up to half of the original bet as “Insurance“. This covers your bet if the dealer gets a blackjack. If the dealer does get a blackjack (drawing a 10 as their 2nd card), Insurance wins and is paid 2:1.
Once it is all players turn the dealer draws another card for their hand. They have to draw until they get to 17 or so.
How Do You Play The Game Blackjack? – RULES
After all the cards have been dealt, whoever has a total closer to 21 than the dealer wins. If the player’s and dealer’s hands are of equal value, it is a tie.
All winning bets are paid 1/1, but when you get Blackjack, you are paid 3/2.

Perfect Pairs – Place a stake in the Perfect Pairs box ,If your first two cards are a pair, you are automatically win. Pairs will be a Mixed Pair (5/1, 1 red and 1 black), a Colored Pair (10/1, both red or black but different suits), and a Perfect Pair (30/1, both with one suit).
TriLux – Bet on the Trilux Box and if your first two cards and the dealer’s first card form the following hand, you win:

TriLux Super3 – You can also bet on the TriLux Super3 box while playing TriLux. If your first 2 cards and the Dealer’s first card are 3 of a kind (all cards are of the same rank), this bet will pay 90/1. If these cards form a Straight Flush (3 cards in a row and of the same suit), you will win 180/1, and if they form 3 of a kind and all of the same suit, you will win 270/1.
The Objective of Blackjack
It beats The Dealer. There are a few shortcomings in the objective of playing blackjack but at the simplest level everything you are trying to do is beat the dealer.

- also by the dealer drawing a hand value that exceeds 21.
- By drawing a hand value of 21 on your first two cards, when the dealer doesn’t.
How do you lose to the dealer?
- Your hand value exceeds 21.
- also the dealers hand has a greater value than yours at the end of the round
It’s also important to note, the other players’ hands at the table have nothing to do with winning a game of Blackjack like they do in games of Poker. For all practical purposes, you are the only one against the seller. Inept patrons of the game will try to convince you “it’s a team sport” but don’t be fooled.
How Do You Find a Hand’s Total Value?
Blackjack is played with a conventional deck of 52 playing cards and suits don’t matter for this game.
- 2 through 10 count at face value, i.e. a 2 counts as two, a 9 counts as nine.
- Face cards (J,Q,K) count as 10.
- The Ace can count as a 1 or an 11 depending on which value helps the hand the most.
The Blackjack Tables’ Layout:
Blackjack is usually played on a semi-circular table that can accommodate a variable number of players. The most common tables accommodate 7 players (or seven “seats”), but I’ve seen tables that only allow 5 players and other tables that seat 12! The dealer sits behind the table and chip rack, and the players sit on the other side.

Blackjack games have many rule variations and different numbers of decks. The most common game of blackjack is dealt from a 6-deck or 8-deck “shoe” (a plastic, card-dispensing device). Single and double deck games are still alive and well but not all casinos with blackjack will have single and double decks so “shoe games” are a bit more common.
